Experimenting 101. 

I’m trying to experiment on concepts and backgrounds (although this background is lazy bigtime). I’m pretty drained but I’m proud I finished two pieces in one day 

~akosimeow once again watched me throughout the entire process of painting this. Thank you for pointing out the mistakes!

An orgmate asked me to paint her for something she would be using in the future I think. I just had the time to finish it today.

yep :)

So this is basically how I paint

1. Sketch like crazy! blocking, identify poses, etc.
2. More detailed sketch
3. Paint under the sketch -to get the basic idea of the color and shading
4. Paint over the sketch -to basically remove the lines and have a more fine painting
5. Fix whatever needs to be fixed
6. Add final details (hair strands, etc.)
